    Turn slowly and ponder real things around;
    allow the view to absorb your thoughts.
    You dwell much too fast…to notice a crown,
    when ugly faces…reveal beauty sought.

    Who shall overlook the secret of an overseer,
    bypassing lovely charms of perception?
    Generously share the treasures of your love,
    for open hearts–cover love’s deception.

    Count the wonder–things most easy to see,
    observing the beauty in your picture.
    How!…we do cherish your breathing motion,
    than flat images on sheets of stature.

    Bask in the warmth of your beautiful smile;
    it is a thrill-of-life…for a few moments.
    Magnificent faces animate the human race,
    while printed stones rest in monuments.

    Your wooden replica says a thousand words,
    while your living presence is speechless.
    Of all things, thoughts might put into words,
    beautiful motion, yet!…remains faceless.

    No private principle will ever outworth a life;
    tho’ life will never surpass the principle.
    Splendid love is the foremost principle-of-life,
    ’cause, life is saved–a dwelling temple.

    Concede with me!…motion turns slower now;
    love perceives ugly, as a charmful glow.
    Distorted faces begin to smile different now,
    appearing beautiful–and pure as snow.
