    Time winds down to a slow-motion cinch;
    Years glide rapidly towards a deadly clench.
    Lifeblood maneuvers…into a hopeful mode;
    Descending far beyond a viable living code.

    Age endures punishment–of a social disgrace;
    Life denies the experience…of a learning race.
    Understood-lessons brings beauty to achieve;
    So long, as wise old folks are willing to leave.

    Suppose wisdom arrives…in the days of youth,
    Obviously, tantilizing age by ignoring the proof.
    Obedience may well beset–in Principles on High,
    Reaping rewards of social craft, by cunning lies.

    Concepts concentrate effort to enter the mind;
    While trusted…to deliver some appropriate sign.
    Polish smooths the heart, as life roughly obeys;
    Carefree opinions set laws for custom to betray.

    Teachable minds…are subject to learn foolish,
    As lively wisdom may be deliberately uprooted.
    Involve flexibility…with a rigid heart in motion;
    Never trust flesh, that produce laws of erosion.

    Protecting minds, while serving a physical body;
    Being sadly slighted, by percepts partly shoddy.
    The gift of life…lives to realize its own reward,
    While tissue bouyance floats convincing words.

    Eventually, kindness will establish to materialize;
    Neighborly love advances–on words of the wise.
    Such tender shields are destined for an attack;
    Although, self-defense will refuse to fight back.
