    I’d like to collect–all the credit,
    Finding needs to attend too;
    And then, give glory…all away,
    To where credit is due.

    Me, and certainly, most of you,
    Are gathered here, as saints.
    This church was well organized
    To do what individuals can’t.

    The glory!…we, as mortal man,
    Is perfected in our God.
    He established an earthly realm,
    For saints to cure the odd.

    With principles stretching out,
    Needs are there to attend.
    The feelers of God’s Kingdom
    Are finding lives to mend.

    Where the saints are organized,
    With tender hearts that care,
    The Church of Christ expects
    Perfection is here to share.

    I arrive at the usual Christian time,
    Alas, but no one else was around.
    The work was quickly dispatched;
    Everyone was gone;…so, I found.

    The simple truth of the matter,
    I have the credit I can stand.
    If our Father is pleased with me,
    Glory belongs to you–O men.
