What longing does the needy…need,
That bounteous smiles refuse to see?
Christians profess a hearty way of life;
Loving neighbors–to come unto Christ.
Principles of heaven grace their veins,
Awaking the world to overcome pain.
Generous principles often freely flow
Unto a sleepy world of taunted gold.
If a desparate need–needs life at all,
Blasphemy!…will naturally avoid a fall.
Wait a tadd!…’til they starve to death;
Guilt!…will seldom bind their lavish path.
Hands grip tightly unto a touch of gold;
Relief resolves spite…to a greedy hold.
Womankind with some bounteous need,
Gladness delivers at a generous speed.
Temporal substance–express exchange;
Hope raises life!…with love to maintain.
A dream sparkles in the twilight of need,
When patience and skill–replaces greed.
