    Will you two share happiness…together alone?

    What do you expect–after the kids are grown?
    Will you two share happiness…together alone.

    Will you say to your spouse, “good morning, dear!”
    Smiling congenially to brighten the day with cheer?

    When the children finally leave…you two at home,
    Your world will change…after the kids are grown.

    Changing naturally…to get the little tikes raised;
    They will, then, correct the mistakes you made.

    Children gain wisdom, that you made them strong;
    While you learn the difference–of right and wrong.

    Grown kids will off-spring for better things to do;
    Of course, you realize…they learned it from you.

    A restless lust–to fulfill life, you may rest assured,
    Efforts of love produced you, and much much more.

    Together, you two form a more perfect weave;
    A most beautiful grand-ole legacy–you leave.

    Patiently, or not!…you two serve time–with age.
    The relentless wheel-of-time…turns another page.

    Slowdown! criticize not!…your mate’s timid lack.
    Understanding improves life; for, love is a fact!

    There’s one last precocious note–a son can say,
    As parents eventually celebrate their golden day:

    “Be happy!…and be cheerful the next few years;
    Saying, ‘have a goodnight, and morning, dear.'”

  • Years roll-by…into the past, as the world turns;
    Timeless is a wonderful realm to share the fun.
    Together!…is a mighty powerful touch-of-life;
    Enticing happiness to join a man and his wife.

    Years roll-by…into the past, as the world turns;
    Timeless is a wonderful realm to share the fun.
    Together!…is a mighty powerful touch-of-life;
    Enticing happiness–to join a man and his wife.

    Faces glare…face-to-face with running races;
    Passing loosely–so quickly, on fleeting paces.
    Timidity offers no shyness for relentless deals;
    Sunlight smiles upon life’s progressive wheels.

    In the arms of love, a fetus enters from above;
    The child invites adults to increase their love.
    With a simple sentiment, nature simply asks,
    That parents take time to remove the mask.

    Beauty arrives–not through tangible things;
    But, like a breath of fresh-air, beauty sings.
    Reality changes things…with a gentle touch;
    Inspite of a rushing world…with foolish stuff.

    Comfort eludes this world–of shallow gold,
    Where sacrifice hangs on treasures untold.
    Words fall-short, expressing paper thoughts,
    That hearts may warm: treasures unbought.

    Tarry-not for love…in an ornamental world;
    True value rides on the shoulders of my girl.
    Years taught her tenderness in my embraces,
    While mother shared love…with pretty laces.

    Passing thru years–from birth to twenty-two,
    My little girl Crystal Amy, is now a big girl, too.
    Going beyond the mark–to teach you and me,
    She is more beautiful, now!…at the age of 23.

    Your little face
    Brightens my day.

    Oh, sweet one, fruit of my loins,
    Your little face
    Brightens my day.
    A dear girl…conceived in love,
    Sweetens my life;
    Straightens my way.

    A gentle kiss…on baby cheeks;
    My time is yours,
    And for anytime.
    You will learn in a few years:
    Once a daughter,
    Is an endless time.

    Beautiful doll, obey your heart…
    And follow my love;
    Believe you’re mine.
    Continue to gaze upon my face…
    ‘Til you are grown;
    Together we shine.

    Education will direct your path,
    Plant seeds of search;
    Grow things to know.
    Love is a knowledge of worth,
    Where hearts know
    Finer places to go.

    Reach wisdom…in all your search;
    There are real things
    You must learn alone.
    Your anxious dad will gladly teach:
    No one can love you,
    Anymore!…than home.
