    Once-a-friend! portrays a congenial personality;
    Her way of kindness possesses a smile of finality.
    Natural help accompanies her tender perception;
    She stakes claim on armor–to resist deception.

    Neighbors admire her ability–to mingle with folks;
    As life pulls more seriously, she responds to jokes.
    Words of encouragement pours from her kind lips;
    When friends lack for a friend, she offers her tips.

    She could cleverly side-step society’s usual traps;
    Or, arrange activities…with no fun directional map.
    Skillfully, she could turn sour into a taste of sweet;
    Or perhaps, invite a wandering fool to be complete.

    Her type of words could penetrate an off-spring;
    Thus, rally-up courage to share strength-to-sing.
    With ten-times more devotion…could she muster;
    Resolve to treat with love–daughter and mother.

    Bold steps may faulter, but without a true resolve;
    For, once-a-friend! will become an awful dissolve.
    Personality underlines with a terrible set-of-traps;
    Tenacious characteristics prime-time an evil tap.

    Kindliness meets concern–in a head-on collision,
    To spring off of hate–involving a foolish decision.
    She could spin around heads to an offensive net;
    Form the worse enemy trap that’s ever been set.

    Unbeknown blindness by the percept of Psalms 38;
    A lovely devotion to gossip–an aggravative hate.
    Tho’ off-spring is sprung into another safe realm;
    Nevertheless, once-a-friend! yet, is out-on-a-limb.
