    Faith!…presents eternity without end;
    Then, how long is patience, my friend?
    A blend determines a friendly sentence;
    Alas, scale-down a need of consistence.

    When patience is penned on a donkey,
    Describe the length his tail should last!
    And, if patience fills the donkey’s mind,
    His future discovery is one patient ass.

    Patience endures…most determination,
    And set smiles beyond the call-of-duty.
    Eternity marks a period of satisfaction,
    Against an impatient foe of absurdity.

    Patience faces fear, as a waste-of-time;
    It gives-way to any tyrannical demands.
    Patience can stand any judgement sign,
    ‘Til mercy administers its own commands.

    Walk a slippery floor–without anxiety;
    Offenses in a straight-jacket restraint.
    Suffer surrender–of a valuable worth;
    And, color the wall with deluded paint.

    Receive an enemy…unrattled by fight,
    To smile against the unbalanced odds.
    Patience stands upon some ruined site,
    And commences to till the barren sod.

    Eternity isn’t long enough for patience,
    If mild perfection receives no sentence.
    Patience reforms the face of absurdity,
    To continue unmoved–beyond security.
